Kolluparuppu (Horse gram chutney )

Kolluparuppu as we call in our kongu region. Kollu means horse gram in tamil.
Horse gram chutney is a delicious chutney, we have with rice. Each home in kongunadu will make this chutney atleast once in a month. This chutneys unique taste comes from raw onion and garlic used to make it.
I have fond memories of having this chutney with rice and ghee. My mom usually makes this chutney during holidays, so that we can have with hot steaming rice and ghee.
Horse gram helps in weight reduction. So weight watchers can also have this chutney without ghee.
