This potato stew is simple and easy to make.
This potato stew can be a best fasting day recipe as there is no addition of
onion and garlic. We make this stew on fasting days for dinner with dosa /
roti.
Requirements :
Potato – ½ kg
Oil – 1 tsp
To grind :
Coconut – ½ cup
Cinnamon – 1’’ piece
Cloves – 3
Green chilly – 4
Aniseeds – ½ tsp
Salt as required
Method :
Cook the potato cubes.
Grind all in the to grind
to a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add
cooked potato cubes and sauté well.
Add the grounded masala
and mix well.
Add about a cup of water
and cook for ten minutes.
Garnish with coriander
leaves.
