I like the bright coloured vegetables , in
that beets have a special place. This dip is perfect combo with idly , dosa and
roti.
Requirements :
Beetroot chopped – ½ cup
Coconut – ½ cup
Dry chilly – 6
Oil – 1tsp
Tamarind – marble size
Cumin – a pinch
Pepper – 5 corns
Salt to taste
Method :
Heat oil , add cumin ,
pepper , chilly and sauté well.
Add beetroot and sauté well.
When it cools down , grind
along with salt , coconut ,tamarind and quarter cup of water.
Ready to serve.
