This rice I learnt from my mom. She usually
makes this with leftover rice. It tastes as tomato rice. I like this rice very
much.
Ingredients :
Cooked rice – 2 cup
Onion – 1
Green chili – 4
Tomato – 3
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds
Oil – 1tsp
Coriander leaves
Method :
Heat oil in a tawa , add mustard seeds . when
it splutters add chopped onion , slit green chili, curry leaves and sauté well.
Add chopped tomatoes and required salt.
When the tomatoes are fully
cooked add the rice and mix well.
Stir well for five minutes.
Serve by garnishing with
coriander leaves.
Serve as it is or with raita.
