This is a easy to make breakfast with the sandhavai. We will make with when we are making sandhavai in our home. My dad likes this most.
Sandhavai – a large bowl
Shallots – 10
Green chilly – 6
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Curry leave – a sprig
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves ( chopped ) - 1 tbs
Salt to taste
Juice of half lemon
Heat oil in a kadai , add mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
Add finely chopped shallots and green chilly. Sauté well.
Add curry leaves and stir well .
Add required salt and turmeric powder.
To this add sandhavai and mix well.
Stir well for five minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Add the lemon juice and mix well.
Lemon sandhavai is ready to serve.
Always use the cool down sandhavai , or else it will stick together.Add the lemon juice after switching off the flame.
