Urad dhal  - ¼ cup
Raw rice – 1 cup
Fenugreek – ½ tsp

Method :
Soak all together for five hours.
Grind to the consistency of idly batter.
Allow to ferment for eight hours.
Pour a laddle full in idly plates and steam cook for 15 minutes.
Serve with tomato chutney or tomato kulambu.

  1. It's sad to read that a healthy food is not used much any more. The idly look nice and tasty. Thank you for contributing to Cooking with seeds.
