This uthappam consist of carrot, onion and gun powder. This uthappam is tasty then plain uthappam. This uthappam is suitable for lunch box.
Dosa batter – 2 cup
Grated carrot – ½ cup
Onion – 1
Idli podi - 2 tsp
Curry leave - a sprig
Oil / ghee – 2 tsp
Heat a skillet / griddle , pour a ladle full of batter and spread to thick dosa.
After a minute spread chopped onion and carrot on the dosa.
Sprinkle idli podi and ghee on the dosa.
Spread curry leaves on the dosa.
Cook under low flame by covering with a lid.
Don’t turn to other side.
Vegetable kara uthappam is ready to serve.
