Bajra Atta Poori

Bajra means kambu in Tamil . we uses this in our cooking . This is highly nutricious and rich  in fiber. This was the ancient grain used by our ancestors. We had made dosa, idli , rice .
Poori with this flour was new to me. I made this poori by combining wheat flour and bajra flour. It pluffed same as normal poori . I didn’t try with the bajra flour alone.

Requirements :
Wheat flour – ¾ cup
Bajra flour – ¾ cup
Oil – 2 tbs
Green chillies – 1 tbs
Methi  Leaves – 1 tbs
Salt
Water
Oil for frying
Method :
Mix the flour , salt , chopped green chillies , chopped methi leaves and required water.
Knead into a soft smooth dough.
Roll into round balls and press.
Deep fry in oil and serve the poori with any spicy gravy.

Bajra atta poori is ready to serve.
