Dudhi with Channa dhal / Bottlegourd in Channa dhal

Channa dhal is known as kadalaiparuppu in Tamil . it is used in making masala vadai or payasam or obbattu or sundal. I didn’t prepared any curry with this dhal before . My mom told me to make this way and it was so delicious.

I tried it for the first time and liked it a lot.

In this bottlegourd is used along with the dhal. We had it with rice. It can be served with roti / paratha.

    1. Yes it takes more time , pressure cooking will be easy . As i made with a cup of dhal I cooked in the vessel itself.
