I love this ladoo’s appearance itself. Its mild yellow colour will be tempting to taste more. I made this besan ladoo for the first time and liked it a lot.
It is simple to make with few ingredients which are easily available in every ones pantry.
Besan is rich in protein. It will be healthy snack to kids.
Besan flour – 1 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – 1 tbs
Water – ½ cup
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Dry roast the besan flour , till the flavor comes out.
In a pan , mix sugar and water. Bring to boil.
Add the cardamom powder.
Sieve the besan flour into the sugar syrup. Stir continuously.
Take care not to form lumps.
When it thickens , add the ghee and mix well.
At this stage , the mix won’t stick to the vessel.
Take off from flame. Allow to cool.
Make small round balls.Garnish with nuts.
Store the ladoos in air tight containers.
If refrigerated it can be stored for 4 or more days.
If the ladoos are stored in room temperature don't store more than a day.
