Papaya Burfi



  This is a very burfi with the papaya. It is healthy as papaya is rich in vitamin – A . I used wheat flour to make it more healthy. This was my mom's idea to use wheat flour.
Everyone in our family enjoyed eating this burfi. This tasted delicious.
Requirements :
Papaya pulp – 1 cup
Wheat flour – ½ cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – 2 tbs
Pistachio

Method :
Heat a pan and add the papaya pulp and cook till it thickens.
Now sieve the flour into the pan and mix well without allowing any lumps.
Keep stirring till the raw smell of the flour leaves.
Now , add the sugar and mix well.
The sugar will melts and the mixture will looks glassy. It may take about 10 – 15 minutes.
Add the ghee and and mix well for another ten minutes.
Pour this into the greased tray and wait for ten minutes.


Cut into desired shapes and sprinkle pistachio.
Papaya fudge is ready to serve. Note :
 besan flour can be substituted instead of wheat flour. My mom's idea is adding wheat flour.
