This podi is my mom’s version. During our
childhood days she will keep this podi in home regularly. I will have this podi
with gingelly oil , as I like its taste.

Urad dhal - 2 tbs
Tuvar dhal – 1 tbs
Dry chilly – 5
Asafotedia - ¼ tsp
Garlic (Optional ) - 1 -2 cloves
Rock salt – ½ tsp
Method :
Dry roast all ingredients
separately.
Allow to cool down.
Grind into a coarse
powder.
Store in a airtight
container.
Serve along with ghee or
gingelly oil. Serve with idly , dosa or plain rice.
Note : add chilly
according to the required spiceness.
