Beetroot chutney




Beet root is rich source of folate. Rich  in potassium. Beetroot chutney can be taken with idly , dosa and roti.
Requirements :
 Beetroot (chopped) – 1 cup
Red chili – 5
Urad dhal – 1 tsp
Tamarind – marble size
Coconut – 2 tbs
Cumin – ½ tsp
Pepper corns – 5
Oil
Salt to taste

Method :
Heat oil in a pan , add cumin , pepper , red chili and beetroot. Sauté well.
Grind along with coconut, tamarind and required water.
Add tempering if required.
Beetroot chutney is ready to serve.
Note :
 Tempering can be added.
