Peanut cookies are one of the favorite Chinese
New year cookies. This is called in Chinese as Fah Shang Peng.
These cookies are specially made during Chinese
New year. These are crunch, chewy and melt in mouth cookies. Yes , it was true
it melts in mouth…………
I
liked it a lot , don’t consider on calories while having this delicious cookies…….
Requirements
:
Roasted
peanut – 1 cup
Powder sugar
– ¼ cup
Peanut oil –
¼ cup
All –
purpose flour – 1 cup
Butter – 1 tbs
Egg yolk
for egg wash
Method :
Grind the roasted peanuts. Peanut must be in
the form of crumble.
Knead well
for five minutes with hand .
Arrange on
the baking tray.
Flatten slightly with the fingers or using fork.

egg wash , brush the beaten egg on all the shaped cookies. I didn’t use egg
wash.
Let it
cool in wire rack and store.
Nice.. this must be the chinese version of our'Chikki/Kadala mittai' rite??
