Banana Chocolate Parfait

Parfait is a French word literally meaning perfect commomly employed to describe a kind of frozen dessert , beginning in 1894. In France , parfait refers to a frozen dessert made from a base of sugar syrup , egg and cream.

In the united states , parfait refers to either the traditional French style dessert or to a popular variant, the American parfait , made by layering parfait cream , ice cream and flavored gelatin in a tall glass and topping the creation with the whipped cream , fresh or canned fruit.

Parfaits may also be made by using yogurt layered with nuts or fresh fruits .

In this parfait I used hung curd and banana. As the curd is less fat than the cream , I used so.

Banana are an excellent source of vitamin B6 , soluble fiber and contain moderate amount of vitamin C , manganese and potassium.

This dessert needs no cooking  , it is easy to make when the required ingredients are present. It will be with the flavor of chocolate and vanilla flavor.
