Happy to post my 600th post today. I always post a sweet on my century post , this time goes for a drink. As the summer cooler will be apt for this season.
This Majendha delight will be good for our body especially to skin . I made this cooler with the beetroot. I named it so because of its color.
I didn’t add any extra sweetner as the beetroot has sweetness. Some beetroots will be bland without sweetness , if so add sugar.
Beetroot is a rich source of potent antioxidants and nutrients like magnesium , sodium , vitamin C and betaine . It is also a ocst effective vegetable and used world wide.
Chopped Beetroot – 1 cup
Mint leaves – 4 – 5
Cummin – ¼ tsp
Water – ½ cup
Dry roast the cummin seeds.
Cummin and mint leaves for extra flavor.
In a blender , add the finely chopped beetroot , mint leaves and roasted cummin seeds and grind once.
Add in the water and grind again.
Strain into a bowl. Pour into serving glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint leaf.
Serve by adding ice cubes / chill in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Majendha Delight is ready to serve.
