AFGHANISTAN

Afghanistan officially the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan .Afghanistan is a favorite destination in  the Central-Asia for those who enjoy adventurous traveling.

Landlocked between China, Iran, Pakistan and three of the new Central Asian republics: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the country is a backdrop of dramatic mountain scenery .

It has a population of approximately 31 million people , making it the 42 nd  most populous country in the world . It is bordered by Pakistan  in the south and east ; Iran in the  west ; Turkmenistan , Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the north ; and China in the far northeast. Its territory covers 652,000 km2(252,000 sq mi), making it the 41st largest country in the world.

Afghan cuisine is largely based upon the nation's chief crops, such as wheat, maize, barley and rice. Accompanying these staples are native fruits and vegetables as well as dairy products such as milk, yogurt and whey.
Kabuli Palaw is the national dish of Afghanistan. Afghanistan is known for its high quality pomegranates , grapes and sweet football-shaped melons.
