Afghans use more spinach , they use in dip ,
curry and in bread same as Indians.
This was a easy breezy dip with only five
ingredients. It was so tasty I had it as it is.
Greek yogurt is best for this dip.
Tanginess from yogurt , flavor from onion , garlic and spinach makes it very
tasty.
Ingredients
:
Thick yogurt – 1 cup
Oil
– 1 tsp
Onion
- 1
Garlic- 2 cloves
Spinach chopped -
1 cup
Salt
to taste
Black
pepper powder to taste
Preparation
:
Pour
yogurt in a muslin cloth , tie and hand. This drains the water in the yogurt.
Chop
onion and mince garlic.
Method
:
Heat
oil in a pan , add chopped onion and sauté.
I
sautéed till transparent , but they fry till it becomes brown.
Add
in minced garlic and sauté .
Now
, add the chopped spinach and sauté for two minutes or till the water in the
spinach dries off.
Add
this spinach mixture to the hung curd , along with salt and pepper, mix well.
Serve
this dip with naan , Bolani and pulov.
