Rice is
the staple in the Asian countries. Bangladeshi cuisine too has pulao , biryani
and khichuri made of rice. As I has to make vegetarian rice preparation , I
thought of making vegetarian pulao. Then
changed to this rice prepared with moong dhal , this rice has become everyone’s
favorite in our family. This rice is usually served by bangladeshi’s with fried
Hilsha , beef rezala , omelette , Pickled
onion alu bhorta. We had it with
aloor dom.
Some use whole moong dhal while some use split moong dhal. Masoor dhal
can be used instead of moong dhal.
