Mysorepak is a famous sweet regular in
most of the south Indian homes during
diwali. In our home , it was a must recipe for diwali from my childhood. My
grand mom ( mom’s mother ) will make with the homemade ghee get from our cow.
It was very flavourful and tasty.
I adapted my mom’s method of using vegetable
oil along with the ghee
Requirements :
Besan flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 3 cup
Ghee – ½ cup
Method :
Heat the pan , add about ¼
cup of ghee and roast the besan flour till the aroma comes . Take care not to
burn the flour.
Cook till the mixture
thickens and ghee will oozes out.
Spread into the greased
tray and allow to cool.
Cut into desired shape and
serve.
