This is another ladoo with
the natural sweetness. This healthy ladoo is simple and easy to make within
minutes. As dates are rich in iron it is essential to have dates daily.
As this ladoo has no added sugar it is
healthy.
Requirements :
Dates - 1 cup
Grated Coconut – 1 cup + 4
tbs
Method :
Chop the dates into small
pieces.
Dry roast the coconut and
keep aside. Keep the 4 tbsp coconut
aside for rolling the ladoo.
Heat the pan , add the
ghee and chopped dates and sauté well.
Cook for about five
minutes in low flame till the dates become smooth. Take off from flame and allow
to cool.
Mix the dates with the
roasted coconut and make into round balls.
Spread the 4 tbs of
coconut in a flat tray.
Roll the ladoos in the
coconut and allow to dry for half an hour.
About 20 – 25 ladoos can
be made and it may varies according to the size. It can be stored for 10 days.
Store the ladoos in air
tight containers.
Note :
Dessicated coconut can be used instead of fresh coconut.
