This will be a indianised burger, it is a
variation of vada pav.
In this
bread is stuffed with a sweet and spicy potato mixture topped with onion
, pomegranate and sev.
Requirements :
Burger bun – 10
Butter
For filling :
Mashed potato – 1 cup
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Dabeli masala – 2 tsp
Imli chutney – 2 tbs
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt as required
To serve :
Chopped Onion
Roasted peanuts
Chopped coriander
Sev
Fresh pomegranate
Fresh garlic chutney
Method :
Filling :
Heat oil in a pan, add the
cumin seeds , wait till it splutters.
Add the mashed potato ,
salt and dabeli masala , mix well.
Add about half cup of
water and cook for five minutes.
To serve :
Slice the burger bun into
halves horizontally and toast using butter.
Place the bottom portion
of the bun on serving plate.
Spread the filling followed
by sprinkle onion , peanuts ,coriander, sev , pomegranate and chutneys.
Sandwich it with the top
half of the bun.
Serve immediately.
