Kadai panner , the name itself reveals the dish kadai means pan used in Indian cooking. Panner is cooked in kadai with specially grounded masala. This dish is simple and easy to cook within few minutes.
Requirements :
Panner – 200g
Capsicum - 2
Onion - 2
Tomato – 4
Chili powder – 1 tsp
Ginger – garlic paste -2 tsp
Oil
Masala :
Coriander seeds – ¼ tsp
Cumin – ¼tsp
Cinnamon -2” piece
Aniseed – ½ tsp
Method :
Cut panner, onion and capsicum into cubes.
Dry roast the masala ingredients and powder coarsely.
Grind tomatoes.
Heat oil in a pan , add ginger – garlic paste and onion , sauté well.
Add tomato pulp and sauté till oil comes on top.
Add capsicum and grounded masala.
When the raw smell of masala leaves , add panner cubes and mix well.
Cook on slow fire with closed lid for two minutes.
Serve with roti / naan.
