Maida Burfi



  This is yet another simple and easy to make burfi with the all purpose flour / maida .
Requirements :
Maida – 1 cup
Milk powder – 2 tbs
Sugar – 2 cup
Ghee – 4 tbs
Rose Essence – 2 drops
Chopped nuts

Method :
Heat 2 tbsp of ghee and roast the maida till aroma comes and keep aside.
Mix the sugar with a cup of water and bring to boil .
When the sugar syrup reaches one string consistency , add the roasted flour little by little and stir continuously.
Cook till the mixture leaves the pan , takes about 15 minutes.
Add the rose essence and mix well.
Pour into greased tray and let it cool.

Cut into desired shape.
Garnish with chopped nuts.
